What is Community Acupuncture? Community Acupuncture is community style setting, where a brief intake is given, patients receive acupuncture in a room with other patients lying on yoga mats and cushions, and are treated for a one chief complaint. Patients will be provided eye masks, and ear phone on request and can stay for as long as they would like.
How does is it different from an office visit? Typically Acupuncture treatments are given in one room, with an extensive intake process of your health history, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and acu graph screening, where I develop a specific treatment plan that may include diet, herb and lifestyle recommendations. This style of treatment is more specific to your unique constitution and goals.
